Entry Requirements:

While there are no entry requirements for this unit, it is preferred that you, as a potential learner, will have the following:

  • be an adult Australian resident who is currently working in the business industry: or
  • be a Year 11 or Year 12 Australian resident secondary school student. (Year 12 students will continue studying this course the following year, after completing Year 12).

For those who do not meet the above preferred considerations, potential learners will be given advice on the opportunity to either seek employment or gain work experience, while studying this course.

Applicants will also be asked to complete a required Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment task upon enrolment to ascertain one’s level in accordance with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ASCF).

Course Fees:

Course Units of Competency:

The qualification comprises of core business units of competency covering disciplines including.

  • Administration and finance
  • Innovation
  • Marketing
  • Human resource management, and
  • Core transferrable skills including communication, planning, time and risk management

Recognition of Prior Learning:

If you have already completed one or more of the above Units of Competency (UOC) for this course or believe that you have equivalent accredited qualifications and experience, you may be eligible to apply for “Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)”.
