As a part of the Curriculum, all Year 5 2026 students will have the wonderful opportunity of participating in the LHC Immersive Music Program. 
In this program, students will learn through weekly group lessons, either a string or band instrument. These instruments will be provided by the College. 

Students will gain instrument-specific knowledge and skills while exploring music elements and concepts such as duration, pitch, dynamics, and expression, all while demonstrating safe practices.
Students’ learning will be enhanced with weekly String Ensemble or Band rehearsals to prepare and perform repertoire for audiences. Small group lessons will take place during class time, while ensemble rehearsals will be held once per week after school.

Please note this is a compulsory program, and students are required to participate in after school ensemble rehearsals once a week.
