At Lourdes Hill College, wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by our Stella Wellbeing Framework, we equip students, staff, and families with the skills and strategies to build a flourishing life—one where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our wellbeing approach focuses on connection, belonging, and resilience, fostering meaningful relationships and engagement in College life. Through participation in Curricular and Co-curricular activities, students develop confidence, purpose, and joy while broadening their perspectives.

Junior School Wellbeing

Junior School wellbeing emphasizes relationships, belonging, and kindness, encouraging students to find joy in everyday moments. Through the Stella Wellbeing Curriculum, students learn about relationship-building, respectful communication, and understanding themselves and others.

Highlights of Junior School Wellbeing:

  • Stella Days: Including a Year 5 camp and an optional Year 6 trip to Canberra.
  • Leadership Development: Opportunities for students to build confidence and responsibility.
  • Benedictine Values: Fostering compassion, gratitude, and community spirit.
Middle School Wellbeing

In Middle School, a strong sense of belonging and positive relationships are key to student success. The Stella Wellbeing Curriculum focuses on building resilience, managing mental and physical health, and preparing students for their transition to Senior School.

  • Leadership Opportunities: Students become ‘Big Sisters’ to Junior School peers.
  • Stella Days: Activities and camps that promote teamwork and personal growth.
