Now Accepting Applications for Year 5 2028

At Lourdes Hill College, our vision is to be universally recognised for empowering generations of young women to be a transforming Benedictine presence in our world.

All students learn in a welcoming environment that values academic excellence and provides endless opportunities to thrive.

We were delighted to welcome our inaugural Year 5 cohort in 2025, marking a new chapter in the life of the College.

Beginning your daughter's journey in Year 5 will provide a strong foundation for a confident and seamless transition into Middle School. Our Junior School students are encouraged to explore new ideas, take risks, and develop confidence in a supportive environment where every voice is valued.

  • As one of three sub-schools within the College, our vibrant Junior School boasts state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities including a dedicated playground, outdoor student mall, contemporary classrooms and library level which provide the ideal setting for students to learn, connect and flourish
  • The College’s unique transition program ‘School Of’ allows future students to familiarise themselves with the College from Year 3. They are welcome to engage in a variety of afterschool activities including Art, Sport, Debating, Drama, Singing and Music and get to know staff and students who’ll be in their cohort. • Students can participate in the College’s signature programs: Academic Mentoring, Mirragin Program, Junior Stars, and Shining Samaritans. They each offer a comprehensive educational experience that encompasses the whole student and allows them to build key skills and excel in their area of interest
  • Our Year 5 students can sign up to a large range of co-curricular activities including aerobics, swimming, basketball, touch football, netball, choir, dance, drama and many more
  • The Year 5 Music Immersion program sees all students receive weekly instrumental lessons and perform as part of an after-school ensemble
  • Our Service Groups give students the chance to be of service to their neighbour. Through Mini Vinnies, students develop empathy, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility while Students Protecting and Restoring Creation (SPARCLES) is focused on protecting the environment
  • Our Good Samaritan ethos encourages students to become active, generous and responsible global citizens as soon as they enter the gates in Year 5. Our College nurtures students to become grounded, hope-filled young people who have a genuine desire to make a difference
  • Students in Year 5 can apply for up to 30 leadership roles heading into Year 6, giving them an early opportunity to lead by example. Positions include House Representatives, Sports Captains, Cultural Captains, Service and Spirituality Captains, a Mirragin Captain and the Student Council
  • The Stella Wellbeing Program allows students to develop resilience, confidence and manage challenges and ensures all students have access to professional counselling services
