LHC Parent App

Did you know you can follow all your daughter’s Co-curricular activities, such as Service, Sport and Culture, via the Extra-Curricular Hub in the Parent App? You’ll find announcements, upcoming match dates, training schedules, venue details and more. You can also notify the coach of any absences.

To access, select the ‘Student’ button at the bottom of the Parent App and then choose ‘Extra-Curricular Hub’.

The LHC Parent App includes several helpful features to help you stay up to date with College events, updates, daily notices and critical communications.

If you experience any technical issues, please contact our team at [email protected].

The Parent App also enables sign-ups for Service, Sport and Culture opportunities.

When sign-ups are open, you’ll see a red dot on the button. Before students can participate, all sign-ups must be approved by a Parent or Caregiver. Instructions are provided in the App.

We’ve launched a new Parent Portal, accessible via the Parent App and Parent Lounge. This portal provides user-friendly access to College policies, forms, and helpful resources.

To access:

  • In the App: tap the top navigation button and explore the ‘Quick Links’ or ‘College Policies’ tabs.
  • In Parent Lounge: go to ‘School Links’ at the top of the page.

Sky Cam

You’ll also find a new ‘Sky Cam’ feature in Quick Links, a livestream view from the top of the College, showcasing our spectacular view of Brisbane.

Cybersafety

Cybersafety continues to be a shared priority. We encourage families to explore helpful resources from the eSafety Commissioner.

For students, we started the year with: Be an eSafe kid: Back to school – Truth or trap? Investigating fakes online https://www.esafety.gov.au

For Parents and Caregivers, live webinars such as ‘Understanding and using parental controls to help protect your child online’ are available at:
Webinars for Parents and Caregivers | eSafety Commissioner

We also remind students of these key cyber safety tips:

  • Recognise online threats, such as suspicious links and phishing scams, or instances of cyberbullying.
  • Develop digital citizenship: including responsible AI use, academic integrity and awareness of deepfakes.
  • Protect your personal information: with strong passwords, two-factor authentication and up-to-date software.
  • Use learning resources, such as Minecraft Education’s CyberSafe, to build digital literacy.
  • Seek support: from a trusted adult, whether a Parent or Caregiver, Teacher or Staff member, when unsure.
