As part of LHC digital safer school’s initiatives we are launching a new Media Gallery hosted on Pixevety, an Australian ISO27001 Certified Media Management service provider.
A school-wide media management system was selected to address safety and security needs for staff, students, and families. After reviewing various solutions, the school chose the Australian-owned Pixevety platform in accordance with privacy, safety, and security benchmarks. Pixevety has received Safer Technologies for Schools recognition.
The Pixevety platform enables LHC staff to securely capture, store, and share photos and videos related to school events to our communications team. Each photo in the gallery is tagged according to its level of media consent previously provided by you so the Communications and Marketing Team can search and filter consented images before publishing. The platform also helps minimize risks by ensuring school media is not stored on personal devices or shared through public channels.
Pixevety was chosen to simplify daily digital media management. As the contracted service provider, Pixevety provides a central location accessible to staff for appropriate handling of school images. Mishandling student photos, such as accidental sharing or outdated permissions, can impact student security and privacy. The school’s policy focuses on protecting images captured both on and off campus and safeguarding the larger school community. Pixevety has provided privacy-by-design solutions for schools in Australia and internationally for over ten years, working alongside privacy regulators and consultants. All data is kept within Australia. For more information about Pixevety, please click on the link below.
