The Year 12 retreat, held last week at the top of beautiful Mt Tamborine, provided an opportunity for our Senior Students to step away from the busyness of school and everyday life to engage in quiet reflection. The peaceful mountain setting offered the perfect backdrop for this time away. It was a chance to explore different styles of Christian prayer and to reflect on their own faith, identity, and future. This retreat was a truly special and memorable experience and an opportunity for students to grow personally, spiritually, and socially.
Activities throughout the retreat included:
Guided meditation
Group discussions
Journal and worksheet activities
Individual quiet time
Supervised free time
Above all, the retreat allowed students to slow down, listen deeply, and strengthen their relationship with God and one another.
