I hope you've enjoyed reading about the wonderful events and celebrations we've shared so far this year. While we've already created many special memories together, there are still plenty of opportunities to be part of our Centenary celebrations. Whether you attend an event, reconnect with classmates or purchase a commemorative keepsake, we would love you to join us as we continue celebrating this remarkable milestone.

Over the last five years, the Committee has discussed many ways to celebrate our Centenary. Following consultation with our members, we decided not to hold one standalone event, but instead to add a little extra celebration and spirit to the annual events that bring our Past Pupils together. It has been wonderful to see so many of you embracing this approach and reconnecting with old friends throughout the year.

I also hope those of you who are members of our LHCPPA Facebook Group have been enjoying our monthly historical posts, featuring photographs from 1916 through to the present day. It has been wonderful to see these images sparking memories, reconnecting old friends and encouraging conversations across generations of Past Pupils. I encourage you to join us at one (or even several!) of these events. Whether you attend on your own, with a friend or by organising a class reunion, we would love to celebrate with you. If your year level is considering holding a reunion at our Riverfire Celebration, no matter how big or small the group, please reach out to events@lhc.qld.edu.au. We would be delighted to help you reconnect and make the occasion a memorable one.

We understand that not all of our Past Pupils, particularly many of our former Boarders, are able to travel to Brisbane to attend our events. However, you can still be part of our Centenary celebrations by reconnecting with fellow Past Pupils, joining our Facebook community, sharing your memories, wearing your Centenary merchandise with pride, or simply raising a glass to celebrate 100 years of the Lourdes Hill College Past Pupils' Association wherever you may be.

I hope to see many of you before the year is over as we continue celebrating this remarkable milestone together.
