What a wonderful way to celebrate our Centenary year, bringing together more than 90 Past Pupils for the annual PPA High Tea. Alumni of all ages from across Australia united at Duhig Hall on 16 June to reminisce with friends and celebrate these significant milestones.

This event is such a highlight on the Past Pupils' social calendar – it's a chance for Past Pupils to connect and reflect on the impact of those who have forged a path for our next generation of students and who continue to embody the Benedictine values and traditions of the Good Samaritan Sisters.

There were eight reunion groups celebrating together on the day, making the High Tea a wonderful occasion for classmates to reconnect, share stories from their years at the College and reminisce over the photo displays and memorabilia. One of the highlights of the afternoon was welcoming an extraordinary 87-year span of alumni, from Sheila Corcoran (Class of 1938) through to Lucy Moffat (Class of 2025). We were also delighted to celebrate milestone reunion groups, including the Class of 1956 (70 years), the Class of 1966 (60 years) and the Class of 1986 (40 years).

We were again privileged to be joined by Sheila Corcoran from the Class of 1938, who is celebrating her 103rd birthday this year. Sheila was joined by her two daughters and, as always, brought great joy and enthusiasm through her enduring love of the College and her continued connection to the Lourdes Hill community.

The current students assisting on the day, under the guidance of Past Pupil, teacher and Committee member Dannii Grant, had the opportunity to hear these stories firsthand and imagine what College life was like over the decades.

Our limited-edition LHCPPA Centenary merchandise was also available for purchase on the day, with many Past Pupils taking home a special keepsake to commemorate this milestone year. To find out more about our Centenary merchandise read the Centenary Celebrations article in this edition of Lourdanian Link.
