We are continually inspired by our Arts students at Lourdes Hill College and the way that they nurture our school to be a vibrant and creative place.

A big congratulations to all Drama, Music and Visual Art students from Years 5-12 and Arts Faculty staff on a wonderful Arts Exhibition for 2025.

An event like this is not just about the final products we see or hear, though those are remarkable. It’s about the journey—the hours of rehearsal, the sketching and re-sketching, the trial and error, and the moments of persistence and discovery that happen along the way.

Every student has the capacity to engage in the Arts, and every student benefits profoundly when they do. Research continues to show that the Arts fosters significant cognitive growth—developing coordination, memory, and the ability to sustain concentration. They cultivate vital social-emotional skills—nurturing empathy, communication, and collaboration. And they unlock creative thinking, helping students approach problems in flexible and imaginative ways.

Congratulations again everyone on embracing and nurturing your creativity, and having the courage to share what you have achieved with our community.
