Welcome to Term 4. It feels surreal to be writing our final newsletter as College Captains. 2026 has certainly been full of so many incredible experiences!

Thank you to all of our LHC Community for being so engaged with our inaugural Good Sams Day. From the Mass to the carnival, it was great to see you all embrace not only the fun moments of the day, but also the moments of reflection.

As our time in this role comes to an end, we look back with gratitude at what we were able to accomplish as both College Captains and as members of the wider community. From raising $90,000 with Rock the Chop, to Galentines Day, to the first ever Year 12 Leadership Conference, it is safe to say that our leadership journey has been very exciting and full of new initiatives we hope will continue in 2027.

Throughout our year of leadership, we have shared countless memories, special moments and opportunities that have challenged and inspired us. As one college captaincy comes to a close, another begins, and we are delighted to hand over to our 2027 College Captains, Maddie and Sienna. As they embark on their leadership journey, we encourage them to embrace every opportunity, face challenges with confidence and make the most of every moment, because the year truly does fly by.

It has been incredibly special to watch the LHC community come together and see our school thrive throughout 2026. Knowing the enthusiasm, passion and spirit that Maddie and Sienna already bring to the role, we are certain that 2027 will be another outstanding year for LHC.

Maddie and Sienna, we wish you the best of luck. We have every belief in your ability to lead the College next year!
