The College is pleased to share plans for a significant refurbishment of Level 2 of the Benedict Centre, creating contemporary, flexible and consistent learning spaces for students.

The project brings visible signs of renewal, with Classrooms 21–28, associated staff offices and corridors to be upgraded and highlights the College’s investment to provide a high-quality learning precinct designed to support innovative teaching practices and changing student needs well into the future.

Proposed Refurbishment

Students and staff can look forward to:

  • Larger general learning areas
  • New teaching walls and joinery
  • Refreshed flooring and finishes
  • Upgraded audiovisual equipment
  • Glass sliding doors between selected classrooms, allowing rooms to be opened and combined to create larger spaces for collaborative learning, group activities and College events

Works are expected to commence in the third week of Term 4 and are being carefully planned to maintain safe separation from the construction area for students and staff to assist in minimising disruption to teaching and learning.

The refurbishment is scheduled for completion for the commencement of Term 1, 2027, when we look forward to welcoming students into these renewed learning spaces.
