Wellbeing is an essential part of succeeding in personal and academic life - our vision is for our students to be well-balanced, self-confident, agile young women, able to manage challenges and be ready for a world of future possibilities.

An important element of our Stella Wellbeing program is ‘Meaning and Purpose’. Evidence suggests that having a sense of purpose and meaning in life significantly contributes to psychological and physical health.

This term, students engaged in a range of Stella Days that tested their resilience and teamwork skills. Our Year 10 students headed to Kenilworth for a Bush Camp where they challenged themselves through hiking, camping and other activities.

Our Year 7s worked as a team and strengthened bonds while taking part in an Amazing Race. Our Year 8 students participated in group activities and mental and physical challenges while our Year 9 students took part in a “Future Curiosity” visit to The University of Queensland (UQ) to support their subject decision-making as they begin the process of transitioning to the Senior School. During this excursion to the UQ campus, students toured the campus and engaged in workshops about pathways to criminology, engineering, psychology, nutrition and health and marketing and business.
