Partnerships

CiTEL works to form partnerships with other schools, institutions, businesses, non-profits and universities to extending the educational network beyond the boundaries of the College.

One of goals of CiTEL is to work with our partners and the community to become a hub for hosting professional learning events. These can range from seminars and conferences to short courses, in-service programs and meetings of teachers’ professional associations.

Currently CiTEL has partnerships with:

QUT Faculty of Education

The partnership between Lourdes Hill College and QUT’s Faculty of Education has a number of focus areas, including co-developing professional learning initiatives and academic research. Lourdes Hill College proudly provides mentoring support to the faculty’s pre-service teachers through its supervising teachers. In turn, QUT’s range of professional development opportunities for the college’s classroom teachers, delivered by the faculty’s expert academic staff, help to build teachers’ mentoring skills and abilities.

CEE Global Education Network

We have been welcomed into the Global Education Network of the Centre for Educational Enterprise (CEE) at Melbourne Girls Grammar School. This initiative draws together enterprising Schools and organisations from across the world sharing innovation, research and experiences in order to support and learn from each other to build educational environments that redesign the school experience for our students and teachers. We look forward to building connections with Member Schools from across the world who share our vision for innovation in education.

Further partnership news and information will be posted during 2021.
