The Creative Spectacular is a program for Year 10 students integrating dance, drama, music, art and creative expression. It is an opportunity for girls to respond positively and with hope to an issue of significant relevance to young adolescents in today’s world. The program is a direct response to our vision statement which asks us to Inspire young women to create a better world.
The Creative Spectacular’s goal has been to enhance the identity and connectedness of Year 10 students through a range of House-based physical, pastoral and community-building activities.
The program is grounded in our educational philosophy. The preparation and delivery of the presentations provide authentic opportunities for students to develop the high-level thinking skills which are the focus of the General Capabilities of the Australian Curriculum.
