A Connected Community

A Lourdes Hill College education encapsulates an expansive community that extends well beyond the College gates allowing students to thrive before, during and after their time spent at the College.

A Lourdes Hill College student is welcomed to the College community and embarks on their journey, remaining connected from the moment of enrolment. This connection is fostered through the dedicated work of staff, mentors and hands-on stakeholder groups.

Our Transition to High School Program allows for students and families to be welcomed into our community far before they begin at the College in Year 7 or Years 5 & 6 in 2025, following the announcement of welcoming our new Junior School.

Students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 enrolled to attend LHC are invited to be involved in our School of Programs where future students are introduced to Sport, Culture and Service at LHC.

Lourdes Hill College Principal Mrs Kay Gleeson said the School of Programs are unique to LHC and allows for future students to experience all that is on offer when they are a part of the LHC community.

“We love welcoming our enrolled Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students onto our campus and into our community as they discover the joy of our extensive range of Co-Curricular activities,” she said.

Our community is further connected through the work of an actively involved Parents and Friends Association that holds many functions throughout the year involving all members of our College community.

The Sunset Soiree is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and welcome new families at the beginning of a new year, our Mother’s and Father’s Day functions bring our Parents, Caregivers and students together and our larger College events invite our future families to join us.

Mrs Kay Gleeson believes that a spirited community allows students to feel connected to a larger presence outside of the College gates.

“We aim to prepare our students for many post-school pathways, but we believe it is important our students know they will always remain a part of our connected community.”

Once students graduate from LHC they join an extensive association of established and dedicated Past Pupils.

This network allows alumni to continue their connection with the College, speaking to current students at Career Events and working with the Parents and Friends and the Lourdes Hill Foundation.

Being a part of the LHC community does not begin and end with students’ first and last days.

From the moment students enrol to attend the College, they and their families are welcomed into a wonderful community of support, dedication and connection.

At Lourdes Hill College a community of connection and belonging awaits.
