When will construction begin and end?

Construction began with early works demolition in November 2022 and it is expected that this stage will be completed by January 2025.

How will noise, traffic and parking be managed?

We are aware of the inconvenience construction may cause and in conjunction with the builder, we have a number of strategies in place to maximise safety and reduce the impacts associated with increases in traffic, noise and parking. Trowse Constructions are working with their sub-contractors in relation to parking in the surrounding streets. The College through its website link above will endeavour to inform residents as early as possible of planned noise or road closures. Communication may also be provided by the builder.

How will the builders and LHC community access the school site?

Builders will usually access the construction zone through Gate 3. Some deliveries will also occur through Gate 2. Changes to this will be communicated through the website updates. College students, staff and friends will primarily use Gates 1 and 2 to access the College with pedestrian access through Gate 4 remaining at this time.
